Introduction And History

Boggula vagu Project is an existing Medium Irrigation Project constructed across Boggula vagu near Rudraram (V), Malhar Rao (M) in Kharimnagar District.The Project work was started in the year 1976-77 and completed in the year 1987 benefited to 8 villages of Malhar Rao and Kataram Mandals of Kharimnagar Dist.
The Government has accorded administrative approval for 92.92 Crores for Projects vide G.O.Rt.No: 71, I&CAD(PW:EA) Dept. dt : 08.02.2011 under APILIP-II with JICA Loan assistance and the Principle secretary to the Government and Commissioner CADA has accorded administrative approval for Modernization of Boggulavagu Project for an amount of Rs 8.00 Crores vide Proceeding No.Com/CAD/APILIP/DEE1/183/2011 dt: 03.05.2011.
Location
This Project is constructed across Boggula vagu , Rudraram village of Malhar Rao mandal of Karimnagar District and commissioned in the year 1984.
