Introduction And History
Shanigaram Project is an existing Medium Irrigation Project constructed across Seddipeta vagu near Shanigaram (V), Koheda (M) in Kharimnagar District.The Project work was completed in the year 1653 and restored to PWD standards in the year 1891.The modernization of Shanigaram project is proposed under APILIP Phase.II.
Location
This Project is constructed across the Siddipet river near Shanigaram village of Koheda mandal of Karimnagar District. This is an age old scheme commissioned in the Kakatiya dynasty.<
