Introduction And History
Kotepally Vagu Project is a Medium Irrigation Project constructed across Kotepally Vagu to Kagna tributary of Bheema River.
The maximum ayacut developed so far under this project is 5360 acres leaving a gap ayacut of around 3840 acres.The gap ayacut was mainly due to
- Deteriorated condition of main canals and structures, excess seepage and transmission losses due to the present conditions of the canal.
- The distributory system of canals is also in deteriorated condition.

Irrigation Potential
