Introduction And History

Ramadugu Project is an existing Medium Irrigation Project constructed across Ramadugu vagu near Ramadugu village and Dharpally mandal of Nizamabad District.
The Project work was commissioned in the year 1964. The Government have accorded administrative approval for Modernization of Ramadugu Project for an amount of Rs 1983.00 Lakhs vide G.O.Rt.No.1203,I&CAD(Med.Irr.II)Dept.,dt;06.08.2005. The work was entrusted to M/s Kranti Constructions.,Hyderabad under L.S. contract system for a contract value of Rs. 6.42 Crores.
Location
This project was constructed across Ramadugu vagu near Ramadugu village and Dharpally mandal of Nizamabad District and commissioned in the year 1964.It is located at a distance of 20 km from Nizamabad.
